all the ending needs to be is less confusing and not being the og ff7 ending

imagine you create this entire bullshit with the whispers just that you end up with the same ending

it would satisfy absolutely no one

That ship sailed with Rebirth

I will get so obnoxious if this trilogy ends with people online whining about how the trilogy was pointless because it ended the same way

after whining for 4-6 years about how it changed too much

to be fair, both can be valid. why the hell would you change so much just to end it the same way?
I'm not in that boat but that's a valid complaint IMO

it's gotta have to be some pseudo new ending to be satisfying imo. like something that fulfills all the new things while still staying very close to the original, but i feel like that's impossible at this point

so I'm just along for the ride

One thing they could do is having multiple endings which would cause people to debate the next years which one is the true ending instead of whining about it

I take every change minus the whispers and multiverse stuff + the church scene with Aerith from Rebirth

the church scene was so much more dreading and impactful than the actual scene in the og
