In other related news I've also picked up playing breath of the wild again with the 60 FPS now.
I'm reminded that I actually like this game quite well I think tears just soured a lot retroactively

It felt so immensely disappointing to watch those trailers and see the exact same world we already explored for 6 years now and then the game came out and it's just breath of the wild again but more

I think if I played tears now with a refreshed mindset I can see it as a really good DLC

At the time though I just wanted a actual new game

I feel like the way they describe a lot of things about their love for botw but hatred for tears is close to me

The script is finished apparently

And it really doesn't help that like the parts that are new feel so under baked it's potential man but the potential isn't there

I will say though sectioned off it might have my favorite final boss fight in the final series

It surpasses Twilight princess so I guess that is something going for it

I thought for some reason I remember TOTK having a "you can pet the X" moment in one of their trailers lol

I am hoping the oot remake reminds them though that it's okay to have dungeons again that would be pretty cool

Tears did take sort of step towards that direction again I imagine it'll be further refined in the open air style
