imagine if FFXIV would tutorialize everything in every new expansion

It's technically it's still a "new" game so they're going to go through that motions

I still am confused on the need to introduce a job system in FF7 at all

The whole point is customizing the characters as you see fit in 7

So why give us the ability to do that but also assinging them specific roles?

it's a tech demo for FF17

I mean they really didn't have to but I love that they did

I just feel it contradicts 7's design philosophy

From everything they have shown, its still just an option

as such, here is my 6 hour part one presentation of why the 7 remakes are bad.

I mean I know they're not like individually numbered but each remake game honestly could be a new numbered main line FF each.

Your character still plays the same, they just get extra benefits depending on the fit

Which is the same depending on what materia you chose in previous games

Even though it's technically not continuing the numbering cycle I think of them as mainline FF titles
