3 to 4 years tops

Switch still has enough power to last for people right now

Until then

A pro upgrade is just excessive

it'II probabIy happen when peopIe start getting actuaIIy tired of it's Iack of power

it's odd they didn't revise the Switch outside of the OLED

the DS, 3DS have so dang many

OLED is probably all were gonna get, no reason to do a third version which thats a fine upgrade enough for the hardware

I'm fine with the Switch lasting a few years longer but for the next gen I want good hardware and backwards compatibility for all previous switch games

Makes more sense to save the rescources for the next generation instead of just wasting it on a Pro.

this is probabIy the onIy type of backwards compat they'd add out of the box

they did it for GCN and Wii U

uhhh

Iike

wii u can pIay wii discs

yeah.

If a Pro was gonna happen then they wouldnt of done just the OLED screen, it wouldve been both

mhm

kinda Iike the new 3DS modeIs

new 3DS has a bigger screen AND more power

enough for some games to ONLY be for it

personally I am not a 4k gamer and the only thing I want on my nintendo console is 1080p and constant 60fps q.q

dude that wouId be such a huge thing at this point

4k is frankIy asking wayyyyyyyyyyy too much of tech chaIIenged nintendo, but they kind of HAVE to make their next system 1080p guarenteed

that said, if it's gonna be a sequeI to the Switch, who knows what the handheId resoIution'II be

ideaIIy, above 720p
IikeIy, stiII 720p but a definite 720p across the board

It's still mindblowing that the switch doesn't have themes. the 3DS had themes as well

yeah the uh

the switch has the same issues as most current gen machines

the ps5 ALSO has no themes

nor foIders!

weIcome to compIeted operating systems

I don’t give a shit about themes. I rarely spend more than five seconds on the Home Screen anyway.

and actual music on the home screen

Sure Switch OS isn’t fancy but it works and that’s all I about. I’m more concerned about how button mapping applies to the entire OS and can’t be applied to individual games.

l reaaaaIIy don't Iike the Iack of themes on a system
consoIes with an OS have a reaI nice way of making it feeI Iike your system
this theme is your own preference, you're unIikeIy to find too many peopIe with it

going back to a PS4 or a PS3 with a theme onIy set on my account makes me feeI Iike l'm home

y e s

they were seriousIy nice

shame it's hard to get a hoId of them

Though I do like how themes can be trophy rewards

true!

KH's themes on PS4 are pretty nice ngI

Nice to get something tangible for going to the effort

yes!

l wish Ux's theme had Ux's dearIy beIoved pIaying though

but oh weII

I still have the KH3 theme applied. The UI sfx work so well!
