Here's a take- combat is typically not the most important part of an FF game.

in terms of reaIism, what I mean is
16 doesn't go extra with any of it's characters movement

Iike, instead of having a sIow start, an extremeIy fast middIe, and a sIow easing end to an attack
it's a constant non-speed-changing motion

even 7R tries to do that

Doesn't that mean it's the opposite of realism

Besides where else do they go? Mainstream western players think Turn-Based is lame and boring, but 7R is apparently a bad hybrid, but people are bitching about 16 having no turn based combat, so, tf are they supposed to do 😂
