I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

but aIso yes that new jingIe of the victory theme is reaI good.

Like they are making this into a cinematic spectacle and then it all just stops before you can continue

YOU DID IT now if you couId just sign these papers eehh yeahhh aha great WOAH YOU DID IT

The new jingle is great glad that's a regular thing again and not just a CHARACTER HUMMING IT AND ANOTHER CHARACTER ACKNOWLEDGES IT BECAUSE HEY LOOK GUYS WE'RE REFERENCING THAT THING!!!

ahem sorry.

I mean I want them to do that here too

they could technically do it like in remake. A reason why they added the screen is maybe that the players can check out the rewards they got. It often happens to casual players that they just forget about checking their rewards. or it's just a design choice for whatever reason

They talked about in the interview how this is more less stage based and you will go back to a hub world

If they want that screen then just add it to when you get there

It just feels needless to do it in the middle of the story

They even said you will use some ancient artifact to revisit your old points and get a higher score

So I get why

So far it just looks like bad design

But the game isn't out, maybe there is an option of some kind to just ignore it

Hopefully you can do that

you know how I would do the screen? remove the click sound and let the cinematic run, show a more transparent version of the screen and let it fade out

I can live with that

maybe it's a disguised loading screen

FF7R kinda had that, when you defeated a boss and the cutscene started you got like little bit of info on the right like if people levelled up or something

on a PS5?
bethetic

jk jk

it's a Iot smarter than an actuaI Ioading screen

I don't think it's loading screen, it continues immediately afterward

But again, game isn't out yet so who knows

god I hope XVI won't have all these dumb and unnecessary "invisible" loading screens like GoW Ragnarök where the game intentionally slows you down
