I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

KH3 combat would have been way better with crit at launch because they would have seen all the flaws

during development

yeah deffs

even I admit that

they are without a doubt far worse

MHM
buuuuut we got it way Iater
DMC seems to baIance itseIf reaIIy weII, since even normaI mode had me dying a few times

quite the achievment these days

Well sure, you make a good point but, KH2 didn't come with Critical on launch, that was 2fm.

I agree Souls games do what they do and stick to them cause it's what they're best at. But there are times with actual unfair bullshit and no one wants to call them out on it.

The Souls community believes "flaws are features" and I hate it.

though I think in Elden Ring's case it's sometimes unfair to shit on the game because it has so much build variety. It's impossible to balance everything

Honestly, I could see the value in AI writing, depending on how it's used. Sometimes you just need a little jolt of inspiration to get you started, and I totally see how it would be helpful for that.

no no, i'm not saying to let it make even more of them. i'm saying to let it handle the writing so that they can focus more of their actual efforts on whatever the main story is supposed to be. like, do i know there's gonna be 100 sidequests and at least half of them are just gonna be "go here and fight this thing" or "bring me x item"? yeah, so why would i want so much effort expended on writing that when a computer can crank it out instead?
meanwhile, your story (assuming it's good) is gonna have writing that's gonna need more of a personal touch, something you can't rely on ai to come up with. so with fewer people focused on inane repeatable writing and more focused on unique writing, that certainly sounds better to me

now, how does it play out in reality? who knows, but the idea behind it makes some degree of sense

I just think it's too early to assume the worst is all

in this case, I'd say it's best to ummm ohhh I dunno controI your output
have quaIity over quantity cuz oh my god does ubisoft Iack that heaviIy in EVERY department

the best and correct thing to do is just have good writing for uhh I dunno everything??

I see what you and Birdman are saying, but here's my thing, and I think you both will know what I mean when I say this

that's fair tbh

aIright.....

and I....

have a response to that!!!

ahem

INHALE

there's two bird men here raiden who do you mean

hehe

And to that I have only one response:
Don't blame the hammer for the mistakes of the carpenter

fiddIesticks!!

aaaaa

It was meant to be

Our sport is so firetrucked 😃

AI, companies do awful shit and get away with it, live service games, fully released games that are just betas

NFT's, DLC that's pverpriced and under cooked, AND lack of innovation, just ripping off trends.

I hate video games 😭

And I reiterate. Whose fault is it? The tool's fault or the company that deliberately misuses it? We can't let the omnipresent flaws in human nature impede progress.

genuine articIe depression

my bro going hard

and I agree tbh
the probIem we have rn is too many companies, ie. peopIe, are being Iazy, terribIe, and miserabIe peopIe
in turn hurting IiteraIIy everyone but themseIves
