I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

yeah we need a definition there fr

old gamers are annoyed but have nothing else to buy, new gamers are used to it and don't realise what's happening

I find it difficult to believe new gamers are this stupid

this conversation 10 years ago, i'd agree with you (and be wrong) today it's like the rest of the entertainment industry

oId gamers are eventuaIIy gonna get other responsibiIities, Iike a famiIy of their own
and when that happens, they won't even buy their kids new games

what's the point and aII when even you, a veteran, cannot possibIy judge a game anymore

I would disagree with that actually.

That was when the Wii U was out, we were waiting for Uncharted 3, and Candy Crush was dominating.

Plus Atlus almost died and Capcom was public enemy number one.

everyone just eat shit willingly because there is no alternative and life is trash so need escapism

the wii u came out in 2012 didn't it?

Oh cool then we had the Wii which by then had nothing except a Smash player base.

LMAO

do not foIIow this advice it is bad

You're making the assumption that all forms of escapism are equal and that people lack preferences

for some peopIe, escapism can just be Iistening to music whiIe imagining scenarios

that works for me

no but people bought the shit sonic game because its written sonic on it

just as satisfying too

mkay you can't make me agree with you on just one sentence

....

dammit

i bought the 2d rythm game on my ps5 because there is no other game to buy

people will buy suicide squad and the battle pass and the deluxe edition

Okay but that's on them for lacking the self-awareness to recognize that what they're playing is mediocre. It says nothing about the industry.

DaZ, Sam, unfortunately you're too optimistic. The old guard of gamers HAVE given up, unless they play a Souls game, they just stick to remaster/re-released titles, and MAYBE one or two multi-player games.

The younger gamers go for what's on sale or what has killer art design to them.

The industry is at its lowest its been in- 5 years maybe less, but there's no crash coming. Not to me, not any tme soon. Even all those prestigious pretentious indie gamers have either quit or went to work for AAA companies; the dudes from 2008-2014.

"them" is the majority that matters

you and me don't matter

stop depressing me I don't approve

I still think you're taking too shallow a view on this. How do you explain myself? I'm a newer gamer and I go for more than what's on sale or has pretty graphics.

MY POINT IS NO LESS VALID

you're an anomaly, anomaly are disregarded by the system, something like that

the old gamers are honestly the most frustrating to watch. seeing people trying to chase their own nostalgia is really sad. People will never get their first time experience again :/

And modern gamers make me sad because they don't give old stuff a chance.
