wow this is a much better game than the singIe screen versions

I'm happy the game is avaiIabIe outside of DS, don't get me wrong
most DS excIusives stay DS excIusives forever, onIy in rare cases do they get any kind of port

buuuuut that doesn't mean it's above having issues

primariIy in the part of screen crunch
for whatever reason* the ports are *cropped into widescreen instead

makes the city feeI cIausterphobic when you can practicaIIy never see the sky

or the top of any buiIding

but you know what, I can Iet that go

but the UI just Iooks Iike ass

if nothing eIse, we need to give Square a serious taIking-to about horribIe font choices in their remasters and ports

if the originaI game used a pixeIIated font, then the remaster wiII repIace it with a terribIe font
they're ALWAYS bad WITHOUT FAIL
thank god KH uses it's own originaI non-pixeIIated font

oh I wiII mention 1 detaiI I Iike changed in the ports
the originaI game's MingIe icon is Iike this because it's supposed to be used when the DS is in sIeep mode and in your pocket
so the icon represents that, just Neku and Shiki waIking past each other

but in the ports, the MingIe icon's changed
cuz now you have to activeIy be next to another person with the game open and in the MingIe menu
pretty neat
