that doesn't make it okay when you base your entire 30 hour adventure on haIIways

midgar in og was about 3 hours Iong

So you want a big open circle

I mean what would you want them to do? Just Make a whole city in a game that consists of 3 hours of the original

the outside world in the og is technically also very linear. there's barely anything to explore. It opens up when you get the airship

I hope they make smaller open areas and loading screens between the towns like in FF12

This whole trilogy of 7R is to combine all of the compilation which extended Midgars story

so Iong as the Ioading screens aren't just bIack screens that's fine by me

I know it's the age of SSD's but I always loved loading screens. you can take a small break and older games always had cool artworks

The one chapter I will say that was not great is the 2nd time going into the sewer that felt long for no reason

the worst part in remake for me was this small linear area that leads to wall market where you have to do these awful puzzles

straight up padding for no reas

the train graveyard was awful too
