The toxicity with Remake is ridiculous, cause it's fans take any and all criticism, Minor or major, as a personal offense and feel the need to defend every flaw about the game- where as haters of the game think it's the worst game of all time and the worst decision FF7 ever made when Genesis is literally right there.

It's not even critism vs criticism, it's just fan boys vs a different flavor of fan boys.

like listen, i hate to be that guy but once you're deep into a game / series, a lot of new things that come out of it will NOT give you the exact same adrenaline rush that it did the first time

rather it's gonna be a different feeling entirely

Like trust me, just as an example, no one is gonna be more critical of that MGS3 remake than me- and Metal Gear is like, half of my make up

I was just talking about this with my friend yesterday; cause we were talking about the people pissed that 16 isn't turn based when FF hasn't done mainline turn-based in 22 years.

This isn't limited to Final Fantasy, but, a lot of people who said that- you can tell, they don't really play that many games lol. There are other games by Square alone that do turn based- hell some of them people like more than the TBC we saw in FF1-10.
