there's so many more creative ways to add rpg progression systems

the job system in XC3 is fantastic

FF7 Remake combat
Job system
FF7R weapon skill trees but in actual fun
Nomura character design
FFXII postgame content
Natsuko Ishikawa as main scenario writer
Soken or Uematsu for the music
No crafting system
XC3 reward design
FFXVI dialogue writing and va

and in case of turn-based combat something that is balanced and doesn't have mechanic bloat like P5

Ehhh about the 16 writing, I mean, the only developed characters are Clive, Torgal and the villains in that order lol

Idk what's wrong with the crafting systems, only a handful of games have had them in the series but like-

I don't mean the story in general but how the lines are presented. FF7R made me vomit multiples times. especially that horrible "you owe me a pizza line"
