in case of FF it's hard for me to say what I like in general because they have this need to change the identity in every god damn game that's why I can only pick the things I liked in specific games

I like the mentality and like that the games are different but it comes with the cost that each FF game has some deeply flawed parts imo. In 1-9 it's the combat systems for me. I think they all suck even for the time where they got released. I also hate 7's ending and overall message or the fact that 7 got released unfinished and people are somehow fine with it.

that's why Yuffie and Vincent are getting more content in remake

I hope they can add all the stuff that got cut

I mean it was still a proper and fully fleshed game

They just wanted two more characters and didn't have the time to fit them in properly

And despite that, they still get some meaty stuff for being optional

Especially Yuffie

yuffie dlc was so good

What's wrong with 1-9 combat?

1-6 are classic turn based?

7's overall message is about living through tragedy and persevering through hardships and shit- its a good message
