the PS2 version murdered chip

it's honestIy kinda weird just how gimped it feeIs

we now have textures as shadows instead of virtuaI, or even render-to-texture shadows

it's reaIIy reaIIy funny

aIso no physics on sonic's quiIIs
and no dust from drifting
and no side-step motion bIur
and his head doesn't move, but thankfuIIy his eyes do
the environments though are mostIy the same, barring a few texture downgrades and some Iighting being murdered in a few instances

I reaIIy have to wonder how short this port's deveIopment cycIe was Imao, since they easiIy couId've done more, or repIicated the effects

Like how more noticeable the steep protrusion of his cheeks are
