I have been asking for a remake on this for a decade

one or two years ago I tried to catch up with the anime and while it was great it was a freaking nightmare to get through all the episodes

Well it's One Piece it's pacing isn't good in the first place lol

How can something get a remake when it isn't done yet?

I mean there's a difference between the pacing in the manga and what the anime is doing

Am I looking at this too literal?

The anime for a long time now can't even adapt more than half a chapter

If it was actually paced properly, it wouldn't even be 1000+ episodes

Covering what it has up to now would be 400 max
