Maybe the FFXVI DLC he means is referring to the "Rising Tide" DLC that is set to come out in a few months.

The possibility of playable Cid and Jill was also mentioned if a PC release was successful enough.

For all studios

xvi got delayed because endwalker got delayed due to covid

sure but even then I doubt the reIease date wouId've been before 2022

and endwalker 6.0 had higher priority

dawntrail got delayed too

Think about it, they had a new expansion, ff16, and covid to deal with while making patch content that also got delayed and changed from 3 months to 4 months per patch

It was so bad I remember the 2nd eden tier lasted for like 7 months

especially eden 💀
