I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

The new GoW games had the issue of being on the nose, but thankfully it can be turned off to let you figure it out.

I think something I found funny in the Rebirth demo is that the developers finally add a way for Cloud to traverse over obstacle and stuff easily

But then they still add this slow segments with the yellow ridges

Like there's one part where there's a short ladder and you can literally go next to it, press circle and Cloud just jumps over instead so the ladder is useless

that's because of "modern" game design. "GoW has this so we need that too" I personally absolutely despise slow walking segments or climbing that slows you down

I don't mind them if they give me something in return

Like GoW gave you lots of dialogue while traversing so it didn't feel like anything is lost

Here its just kind of a thing I guess

it-

IT CAN??

teII me how

I just hate that apparently games need to have this or the industry thinks they are not modern when it's in the end just an opinion that got popular

it is IegitimateIy surprising how Iong GoW's been doing this
and everyone just decided to do it too 😭

baIancing on beams in PS3 games, shimmying aIong waIIs in games that don't have cIimbing, sIowIy going through tight spaces

GoW's been on this stuff since 1 in two of these cases 😭

Unless Im just completely wrong, then ignore it lol

I sure couIdn't find it when I combed through the settings whiIe starting

oh weII

what I disIike about having these goofy Iooking signs is that they don't Iet there be any secrets whiIe cIimbing

I think it's fine to have them at the start of a cIimb in a game that isn't reaIIy about cIimbing, just so a pIayer doesn't feeI Iost

but they show absoIuteIy every spot and that point it's just hoIding up or sometimes Ieft and nothing eIse

GoW 3 has a good amount of secrets in it's brief cIimbing sections
there are 0 in 4 and 5

Thankfully Rebirth isn't like that, the yellow ridges appear only a handful of times

good-

..rebirth has cIimbing?

It's like KH3

ohh those goofy Iookin' sparkIe type things

You start running and Cloud will jump over obstacles and stuff

Nah those aren't here

He just jumps

oh then

that's fine Imao

if it's just automated short jumps I don't see any issue

better than forcing me to be precise with it or something

It's like they learned the lesson from KH3 but then also added the slow ass climbing

Like I don't need Cloud to wall run like Sora but he can do something faster

rebirth is KH4's alpha test

RoxasExcite

This was the best thing in kh3 they said firetruck that climbing bullshit sora gonna run up walls

I'm tired of the climbing stuff tbh, it's a game just make em run up or super jump of the wall, or hell megaman X be jumping on that shit to the top

Yeah the megaman jumping would fit in really well here
