I'm no legal or economic scholar, but wouldn't there be a potential for a monopoly if we did away with exclusives? Like, if it ends up getting to the point where all games are on... Idk, the switch 5, and Microsoft/Sony have stopped producing consoles (because why bother since no exclusivity)
