Imo the problem y'all have is that you get too far into a fandom and start seeing the worst parts (whether that's at the front or deep in the back depends on the fandom)

You gotta learn to just dip your toes in, take it easy. Don't jump headfirst into everything, just select what looks nice and keep it there. Don't let algorithms drag you down into the muck
