I've recently come to the conclusion that if black knight was a new ip/original title not related to sonic, it might have had much better press

People just were too quick to judge Sonic back in the late 2000s

But then again, a lot of it, like the writing and the crush 40 ost is pretty intrinsically related and the fan feedback probably would have been worse

Crush 40 did such a good job with the game

I actually had to do a school presention back in 2012 about American bands and I chose Crush 40
