listen, all im saying is interstellar is definitely going to be a classic if it isn't already, and this rerelease is well deserved. it was a unique, individual story directed by one of the best directors of our time, with a soundtrack made by one of the best of our time. it's not just some random movie with a rerelease like you're making it out to be

i never cared for Avatar myself but its rerelease made sense to me as well and i still thought it deserved it. the movie was influential as all hell with some fantastic technology involved for its time

I never said I think Interstellar is "just some movie" it's not about Interstellar- it's about the concept of re-reasing movies 10 or less years old- I don't like it across the board, even some of my most favorite movies I haven't seen the re released versions

for the most part i agree as well, but some movies like Avatar and interstellar do provide unique viewing experiences that you can only get in a theatre and i can understand the reasoning there. i personally never got to see interstellar in a theatre and it's in my top 10 of all time so of course i would love to have that experience
