Sorry everyone here comes text wall for final thoughts of my most recently completed game

And that's Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin completed to my liking. I WILL NOT be playing the DLC due to having to ONLY be able to play it on the hardest difficulty and I played the game on the easiest difficulty. I'm not playing a soulslike inspired game on the hardest difficulty I'm sorry. The story was interesting at first... but then it immediately became meh/boring/bland after that. I'm not going to call it 'mid' due to something it did that I still feel like not a lot of games do (hint: "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain") but the story was too bland/meh/boring for too long. I liked how all of the areas/levels were based on areas from previous FF games. The dialogue was very amusing/funny as well. Those Jack one-liners man 😂 So it had it's moments. But it was overall mediocre. I don't like soulslike/soulslike inspired games so that probably had an effect on my feelings on it. But I liked the twist at the end and did enjoy it. Mostly. 7.5/10.
