indie games are generally small, undemanding and so, unoptimized, because they can run on anything anyway

AAA exclusives are big, demanding and optimized for a single console, when switching to pc you then have different infrastructure, disc speed, ram, vram drivers, etc.

the engine used also make it easier or harder i guess, UE for example is easier to port

So thats why we dont have as much graphic customisation as pc games

FFXVI was built for PS5, they could min max based on a very specific set of hardware and specs

then going to pc it becomes hellish

idk maybe that's not what they target as developer, or it was a choice made to not sacrifice other things

i play in graphic mode on ps5 and i think my tv as built in smoothing or something so it looked great

i dont have 60fps eyes tho

my friend cant play anything at 30 it makes him sick, i can just adjust in a few seconds
