Partially for this reason

If its that powerful and expensive it should be able to have 60 as the standard

60 FPS regular has always been a goal since PS2, but it's something companies can't commit to.

I think companies should try to maximize what their games can do and out maximum effort- and I think 60FPS as the norm is a step in that direction

These stupid lot since 2016 been yammering about 4k this 4k that and couldn’t provide proper 60 fps

Still nothing

Your game could run at 8k for all i care

Its the fps that matters the most as it affects your input

The 4K thing especially - here's my other thing, I'm not a Graphics Hound, ok, and tbh? I don't "need" 60 fps.

But

It has been a priority, promise, and selling point these companies have used to sell game tech and they haven't delivered

This current gen flat out lied basically

So for me personally, the issue is the misleading done to the consumer.
