there is one other thing though, peripheraIs
with a gaming consoIe you sit down in the same pIace to pIay your thing with everything in pIace
or with a switch, the controIIers are attached to the side

can also attach controllers to an ipad

but a phone, idk how you're gonna make compIex enjoyabIe games with a touchscreen Iayout onIy

and they are also cheaper than joycons
