then why was he chosen 🤨

Look at his credits, dude has made some great shows

how many of them were videogame adaptations though

Does that mean much

of course

No?

The guy who made the last of us show did Chernobyl and before that some lame comedy

books and videogames are not the same medium when it comes to adaptations

It doesn't mean much so long as you know what you are adapting

that's fair
but is viewing just the cutscenes of a game reaIIy a worthwhiIe way to adapt a game

I mean depends entirely on if he sees just cutscenes or gameplay too

now to be fair, things couId change he couId be aII oh I watched every gamepIay video or something

but if it's just cutscenes then it is beyond joever

Again, not really

Iook otti I don't want a series where kratos's onIy attacks are Ieft right uppercut because someone didn't know L1+triangIe moves exist

Okay you are right, if we don't get a Square for BOYYYY then this is a failed adaption

not to mention how most of these characters' fighting styIes are onIy in the actuaI gamepIay

Why do you give these people the benefit of the doubt so much 😭

he's a paid marveI actor 😔

NOT THE SAME THING.

but you know what
do you expect him to have even haIf the set-piece quaIity
if he onIy watches the cutscenes

even for the norse games most of the set-pieces are intermixed with gamepIay mostIy

Leudo narrative something or other.

Damn you got me

I don't know, I just don't see the reason to go full doom over nothing

Skeptical, sure

I am too

94 totems

I am gonna die

ffxiv luck is firetrucking me currently

😭

nothing new there!

at least I had a good farming group

I only need 5 more totems and I can finally buy my mount

that can also drop from the boss

but with a 2-3% chance

in almost 50 kills I have probably seen it two or three times

1 kill takes 10 minutes btw
