If they would make these consoles and engines so that it was easier to develop then this wouldn't be a problem - i thought the 5 and Series would cut dev time down more than the 4 but it feels about the same- nothing comes out in a timely fashion

Still 4-6 years for anything substantial.

I feel thats sony's RE engine to them

Audience expects more so the developers adds more stuff, that's all it comes down to.

Kinda hard to call it Sony's engine when Guerilla are the only ones using it

Not counting Kojima studios as its not under Sony

Although I do think I read sometime last year that they want to commercialize the engine so we will see what happens

me everytime ppl talk about budgeting in games

I know making almost any game within a year like it used to be is impossible, and that 2 years is probably asking too much, but with how much firepower they [i]say[/i] this new technology has i dont know why it can't be done.
