i want to agree but it’s Iike my base combos are just a path to buiIding atb so I can do anything substantiaI you can’t even pressure most enemies with base attacks it’s Iike a fighting game but combos do chip damage, with supers being the [i]onIy[/i] viabIe option

FFX combat is super streamlined compared to other games. Even DQ8 had more depth

Different characters do different things. Barret does lots of stagger damage with his base attacks.

you know what I’II give 16 this it’s way more fun to just enemy step and eikonic feats aII over enemies than using the cooIdown abiIities

Which is why I think it works pretty well with 7R because of its revolving characters having stuff to do

Yeah if you only you could do that with more options whenever you got a new summon

btw I don't want to roast FFX with this

Like it barely gives you options for stuff like that

My favorite thing the remakes have let me do is stack a shit load of Luck Ups on Barret. Brother shreds enemies like a fine Julien salad

or make it look bad

It took until getting Odin and Leviathan for them to make a proper difference other than skills

true! 7R does make the party reaIIy usefuI. Everyone has a good roIe to pIay even cait sith can do stuff if you try hard enough

and that it's not as good as other turn-based games

I never could play with Cait properly

Aerith too and I had her for two games

Maybe its good she's dead

I will play Rebirth again sometime before Re3 is out just to get a refresher on the combat so I will try and make Cait and Aerith work better for me
