they always put the weird shit into the after credits scene

The one thing I always love about the octopath games is the break system

Always so satisfying

And man how much more enjoyable octopath is when you follow one character throughout the whole thing instead of 8 different ones

someone needs to datamine resonance because I am sure that resonance stagger uses the exact same code. They just turned the way to portray it into a bar.

That wouldn't make sense

The bar went down no matter what attack you used, the effectiveness just changed depending on if it was a weakness or not.

Octopath on the other hands ticks it down by one no matter what so long as you hit the weakness

Standard attacks have probably a shield break value of 1 in Resonance.

Elemental Weaknesses value probably depends on the enemy because I saw that elemental weaknesses can have different multipliers on mobs. That's something that is actually new in that regard

also having different multipliers is amazing
