He's just the producer on 16, his main focus is still on 14.

Who’s the director then?

hes the producer on FF14 as well

AND director

He's also the director on 14

Which is why his main focus is there

I know lol but do we know the director of 16?

I forgot the directors name on 16

He worked on DMCV

thats the combat director

the writers of the game worked on the SaGa games

Hiroshi Takei

He's the director

Can just look through this thread on who's known to be working on the game and what they have worked on before

Has he been a director in the past?

He directed a game called The Last Remnant

this is the first big SE game in a while too not be a teaser on announcement or that says "In development" LOL

theres also a rumor that they not even using luminous

its another custom engine

its a very sexy looking game

its quite hungry for my eyes

i think its cause what ever the 14 team uses its close to whats being used on FF16

cause think KH and FF7R teams had to learn the engine first

thats why it took long

KH3 crawled so ff7R could run

Makes sense to use something they are familiar with to finish the game faster

also making new assests

yea they can port over there assests

from 14

The models on the characters does look better than 14 already, so they are focusing on making it shine as a single player game
