It took a while but it grew on me an i learned to like the custom ability of Sora's deck. But then I played Riku's story and it was REALLY boring b/c i couldn't custom ANYTHING! I had to make myself play Riku's story. I didn't enjoy it really at all:-/ So yeah, I love the card system:D I always spammed Cloud and various magic slights.

I did not like it at first, but now, I've decided it's okay. It's still taking me a while to get used to it, though. I hate having to search for the healing card! It's been the cause of Sora's death many times. >.

Ehh, well I don't exactly HATE it. At first I absolutely hated it with a passion just because you had to do so much work to put cards in a special order and get more cards to be more powerful and, well, you get my point. I struggled SO much when fighting Repliku 4 freakin times. I remember giving up a lot until finally I beat him. My deck was pretty weak because I kept getting only HP level ups instead DP level ups when I leveled up. And it made it worse when I kept clicking the X button and the boss or heartless kept breaking my cards/shot for fail. Riku's part I actually enjoyed since he was a lot easier, at least for me, since you didn't have to recharge your deck when you ran out of cards....And I could keep hitting X without dying much . All in all, it was...different. Square Enix just wanted to try something different that's all

I've gone into Sora's story so far. I don't know how it is on GBA, but PS2 is... erm... well I like it, but it's kind of complicated.

I'm in Sora's story right now, and I keep dying, cause I don't get to my healing cards fast enough! Grrr!

 

But other than that, the card system isn't all that bad... It could be worse...

i kno!!! dnt u hate it wen ur about to beat a boss and all u need to do is ind the healing card bt it takes too long to find it and u die?! i hate that!!! that was the cause of my death so many times in that game!

yeah, i don't like the was you have to re-arrange your deck evertime you get a good card

 

but the battle system isn't bad

the ps2 version card system was more annoying the the gba version cuz it takes too long to reload

Well, Its ok. Just i like playing it like Kingdomhearts 2 that way was better. But when CoM came out on PSP that was quite fun with the card system.

I liked the story line but the battle system was my biggest peeve cuz I'm a meele attack person and the cards just messed me up with the reload system. ....Is it out on psp????

i love the card system still playing beat soras story recently beat vexen on reverse rebirth but when did RE:COM come out on the psp cause i have a psp
