I'm thinking of entering your next one but all I have to work with is WMM and I'm sure everyone knows what a fight it is to use it. That and going up against a video by better editing programmes like Vegas is daunting

I know a bunch of WMM videos that either match a video made with a better program, or are better than vegas videos. Just because you don't have a more "advanced" program doesn't mean you can make awesome videos. It just takes practice and a bit more extra effort. If it's extra effects or a specific effect you want there are some websites that offer free (or some cheaply priced) custom effects/transitions for you to use. Other than that there's also tutorials how to work with the few effects you have to make awesome videos around youtube and stuff. <3
