wait...didn't they say they were working on putting together another game back in 2020???? or am I remembering wrong

could be delayed. I wouldnt get too hyped over the 2023 release date. Could be place holder. They didnt even show actual gameplay (or it looks slike proof of gameplay)

I am sure the wait is not going to be super long, hmm

I'm not placing all my turtles in that basket

Wait I messed that up-

I'm keeping expectations realistic lol

the whole trailer was in engine is what they said in interviews. although i guess that could still mean they script the battles and slap the UI on

still better than early KH3 trailers being all prerendered though

but yeah i don't think 23 is very likely even with that leak gaining more credibility over the months

dates are very placeholder until closer to launch

Plus, since this is from UE4 to 5, they won't lose a year's worth of work like 3; Luminous to UE4.

^

at this rate I expect another trailer by the holidays with a fake release window

Eh to be fair they did say they just started development

probably hunt, they did say no news in the summertime window either so if we see it again it'll be after DR and the closed beta stuff die down

Which likely means they are starting straight into UE5

Cause they made the trailer in UE4 just to have something to avoid leaks

Knowing SE, it'll more than likely be pushed to Q1 2024 (assuming that wasn't just a placeholder date because they needed to put in something)

they already talked about development on UE4 and confirmed they'll be moving over

Too bad Nvidia leak already happened:jerry:

they probably wanted to get it out there before more and more of that leak got confirmed and it was an inevitability

If that's the case then I could definitely keep my 2024 bet on the table

getting it out now while the leak is still in the "could still be fake" stage was a smart move i think

yeah, most likely

i was thinking mid-late 2024 at the earliest but we'll see by the end of the year probably

My guess is Holiday 2024 or Spring 2025 and by Spring I mean probably still the Winter half of March

I definitely believe we'll get more info at D23 Expo 5 months from now

I'm really bummed that there probably won't be a release of the songs played at the event. Apparently it was KH4 music

The hype when they busted out the Toy Box music at the first orchestra I attended before KH3 was released was amazing

one of the most memorable KH experiences for me right there

had a family of 3 next to me. father, mother, son. got into the series when the kid was teeny and all of them had been fans ever since. just the sheer joy and tears that came from the dad next to me when toy box music came on was so touching

just thinking about how much the series meant to him and how it probably changed his life for the better and all

It's kinda funny, but the thing I remember the most was when the Days music started at the KH3 orchestra and people laughed because I guess they didn't like Days. Then you could hear audible crying during the Vector to the Heavens portion

rip

LMAO
