I hope they keep the build aspect in KH4. If I choose mage at the start of the game let me be a mage. Magic should feel strong enough in all situations that you don't need to rely on base melee combos imo

I feel like in KH3 they found the best way regarding this. You still need to be in melee but not that much if you use the magic keyblades. Shooting Star is such a cool keyblade due to the ranged aspect

I didn't realize this until I watched casual players streaming KH3. I saw a lot of people being happy that magic was so strong in comparison to 2

shooting star even gives enough iframes that you don't need to rely on block

Well the problem, T, is that in KH1 everyone was either a reviewer who didn't want to think, or a kid, so the strategy of the game's blueprint was lost. So they leaned into it with KH2 and expanded the combat into some GOW, DMC shit.

But recently KH fans want more RPG elements, and most of the people who say that either didn't play or like the spin offs where they leaned into it.

But the fast paced combat of 2 and Remind is so loved they can't just get rid of it either.

Re Mind's design philosophy and transmog Export all KH3 outfits into KH4. It's the same engine. Shouldn't be that hard. Right?! Right?!!!!
