mono tune 0 Posted December 21, 2010 By Nomura(producer) and Takashi(planning director). Laguna, The FFVIII hero was actually supposed to have appeared in Kingdom Heats Birth by Sleep, Nomura revealed. They'd even partially prepared a scenario where Laguna appears as the head of Mirage Arena. In the end, they decided that if they were to have a new character from FFVIII in Duodecim it would end up being Laguna, so they left him out of BbS. This game may come with PSP hardware bundle. Square Enix has yet to provide a look at the special PSP system, but Nomura revealed to the magazine that it will have a Yoshitaka Amano illustration showing Chaos and Cosmos. The system will be pearl white, with the side frame being matte black. More characters are on the way for the game. While there was no mention of the Jump trailer's hints at Yuna, Nomura said that the remaining character reveals will all come from the Final Fantasy games that were released on the Super Famicom/SNES and beyond. The past characters aren't all that's returning for Duodecim. Nomura revealed that the original's story will also be included. Once you clear Duodecim's story, you'll be able to unlock this. It's being fully remade to go along with Duodecim's new story mode, which is based off a 3D map system. The plot is the same, but you'll find more 2D events allowing you to explore the story deeper. With two full stories, it may seem like Duodecim is going to offer a lot of play time. This is the case. Takahashi said to expect 15 hours of play time for Duodecim's story. Add in the original's story, and the total shoots up to 60 hours. O_o Nomura promised a surprise for the game at the January 18th 1st Production Department Premier event. baylaust 2,531 Posted December 24, 2010 If the rumors are true, and Yuna's in Duodecim, then that means they'll probably bring in Seymour as well.

::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted December 25, 2010 I was surprised to hear that Vaan from FFXII is going to be in it. I know they've put Gabranth in the last one, so it's not shocking that they added in another character from that game, but I was expecting Basch or even Balthier to be in it. I was expecting Basch the most though, seeing as how Gabranth had it out for him.
xxVivaLaSugar 6 Posted December 25, 2010 That is definitely Yuna. There's no doubt about it. I'm wondering what other characters will be in the game. Lol.

Gabranth's 3rd costume is Basch, which is totally awesome/kinda confusing.I don't think Vaan really fit into the story enough to merit Dissida-dom. I think they should've added Ashe and Vayne. How would Yuna fight? Swing her staff aorund. What would be awesome is if she summoned for her HP attacks, but that would be SO complicated.
CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted December 26, 2010 How would Yuna fight? Swing her staff aorund. What would be awesome is if she summoned for her HP attacks, but that would be SO complicated. I cant remember where I said this but Im speculating that Yuna might be able to instantly call Aeons and use one of their Overdrives or unique moves from X as brave and HP attacks. Kinda like in the PS3 game Folklore where they can assign a monster to the face buttons and use a button to briefly call it and use an attack then vanish. Ive also thought that theres a change they''r gonna have her change into her X-2 Dressphere like in the opening of that game and her change jobs on the fly. Kinda like Cecil & Lightning

Kinda like Cecil & Lightning Or just do like Aerith did in FFVII swing her staff(like AnsemTheWise said). But your idea isn't bad too CardCaptor. But I personally think that her class change will happen in EX Mode, you know, like Onion Knight with the ninja/mage class change.
RoxasStalker 11 Posted December 30, 2010 NEW TRAILER!!!!! JhYGaBXOV2w Yuna? @KingdomHearts125 Lightning, Cloud, and Tifa. Tifa is like the deffinition of epic, I so can't wait to play as her.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted December 31, 2010 And another thing I thought about: Yuna's in and Lightning can change into a Medic, so is there healing in Duodecim? (Besides Regen in EX Mode)
Reversal 53 Posted January 3, 2011 Im hoping with all my heart for Vivi or Garnet cause of their connections to Zidane and Juja Same here, but so far, it seems to be going with the whole "you either get a new stage or new character" and FFIX already got the Prima Vista Still have hope though, especially with that announcement a while back when Nomura confirmed more characters from, what was it, post-NES era? Can't remember. I had a short mini-rant here about Lightning acting like the "leader" and "primary protagonist" role that WoL had in the original Dissidia and should have in Duodecim because of all of her screentime in the trailers and being the head of the characters on the boxart, but I think everyone already knows about my general dislike of that. Axtwyt 500 Posted January 3, 2011 Now that one of the worst characters for FF to make it in dissidia is here, I'm praying that Gilgamesh, Vivi, and Ramza (as a secret character) all make the cut. I'd root for sora, but that's near impossible that he'd make the cut
CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted January 4, 2011 @ Reversal I hope it might be a misquote but I heard that the remaining character reveals would be S/NEAS-ish, plus a popular rumour says Minwu from FF II will be one. And about the Lighting thing Im kinda half and half one it, especially since even if she is getting the main-ish character slot then I hope that everyone else gets their fair share like in the first one, although I'd say there'll be a good focus on Vaan especially since in XII he and Penello were like advertised as the main-ish characters to the japanese youth I mean when you think about it Balthier and Ashe seemed more important and contributive to the plot but probably weren't as marketable. Oh and of course bact to Lighting it goes without saying but her role and appearance are simply cashing in on XIII's success.
