Why is this something they take so seriously they apologize for

Day 1 patches have been a common practice for over a decade

There's nothing embarassing or bad to have one

If anything I would think it's weird if they don't continue to work on the game when it goes gold

I mean its a nice thing to see and want to not do

but hey it had to happen

what devs out there you see try there best to not do a day one patch

and some be doing 5 patches in a week cause it just comes out buggy af

No one because they aren't stupid to say it out loud

Now Square look like fools for going back on it

it's just their working mentality to create the best possible product. The team has a lot of perfectionists

Yoshida cried on stream for delaying endwalker for 2 weeks

and it shows that they are like this because Endwalker and Shadowbringers had both the most bug free launches in their entire genre

it's also pretty much a japenese thing to apologize for things like this

I wish our working mentality in the west would be like this 😭

I love how this team is not afraid of negativity

The WoW team has been doing this since Dragonflight too and it made the dev/player relationship so much healthier

I don't really get why they don't just release the harder modes immediately for people who want it

FF7R had the same thing too

That just reminds me of the P5S plat that was pretty fun except for 2 trophies that took ages to grind out

well your second playthrough you`ll skip cutsecenes and have a faster pace

I love that Final Fantasy mode has apparently new enemies

and i guess they wanted your first playthrough to be calm enough to enjoy the story and world
