I feel like they could have made only one difficulty that is slightly harder and if people have issues they can equip the accessoires. the game being slightly harder really doesn't change the outcome if you decide to play with accessoires imo

hardcore is always the small percentage of a games base, but to have something for them is there like the casual crowd

which is fine

you should want more people to play regardless of there ability

they deserve a lot of praise for the accessoires btw

Or just do what everyone does and let the player adjust the difficulty on the fly. If your assumptions were wrong and you find the game too easy or too hard, you can fine tune as you go to suit your playstyle.
