You have to use the synergy skills for Tifa

Like hold R1

And then she works like cloud in the air

Still the fact I need that just for her to go in the air is horrible

Ehh I doubt they will give Tifa a solo fight in the air so it's not really an issue

how long is this section of the demo?

There's a few fights in the open world and some vr stuff

I am around an hour in so far

But also been a bit distracted by work so let's say an hour in total

What happens when I don't want cloud lol

I have tried with all of them and they all throw her in the air

It would have been better to just do the same input as cloud

She didn't need someone in remake she doesn't need someone else now

I think it works well enough here

synergy commands (the ones with the cutscenes) have no iframes

It would suck if you suddenly died in the middle of a long scene

I did this one FATE with the bird enemy and red + aerith died both while doing their command

Oh I read that wrong, I thought you said they have iframes

But that's weird, I used one too in those and nothing happened to them while the enemy attacked

maybe it's a FFXIV thing where you get snapshotted by the boss before animations even happen and that's why I saw both dying during the command

Yeah my synergy got hit

ok I like the game so far but I still don't understand the purpose of the r1 synergy moves

they are just fancy normal attacks

I think it's just to give you more options outside of ATB

The problem is like if I'm using characters solo that whole mechanic is just useless which ik they do solo Sims again

I will say aerith lasers are neat
