I wish instead of tedious minigames they would have done more combat challenges

the combat challenges are so much more fun

the only one that felt was insanely brutal was Fort Condor Mode so far, that one was insanely unfair.

I don't like the cosmo canyon proto relic mini game

I didn't like gold saucers arena challenges at least the last red portion it's just mixing the same 2 bosses over and over again

I am thinking about skipping all the sidestuff and just focus on the story. this game has similar issues as FF16 that they throw shit at you that is just tedious and not fun

the chicken sidequest broke me

KH2 and KH3 clear this game in terms of sidestuff balance

I think that's what they are going for. Cloud ends up seeing Aerith coming back to life and then in part 3 when his fractured mind has been put back together is when we will see the funeral

 

 

Which sounds like a decent idea on paper but it doesn't change the fact that they still butchered it completely here

headache shit they did with that scene and it felt forced cause there was no reason for her to go pray when meteor wasn't even summoned

We skip rocket Town and cloud "gave" the black materia to seph right after the temple, he will still give it to actual sephiroth but the order of events now are just everywhere.
