Yeah, you found the ending good in stormblood? Or the plot in general?

SB was the weakest story of xiv imo

I liked the ending except for what happens post credits, but in retrospective I love that they did it because it was amazing in Endwalker

also stormblood is still a better story for me than half of the mainline titles

it's better than XV and XIII trilogy for sure

also better than 1-5 in terms of story

better than VIII's story too

I honestly even find ARR better than most of the mainline titles but I will get cancelled for this take

the boss spawns puffs and they are either cardinal or intercardinal spawns and you get chained to one of these puffs and depending which one you get you have to position yourself like in the screenshot. the left side is for intercardinal puff spawns and the right side for cardinal spawns

and if only one person firetrucks up everyone dies

and you have approximately 10 seconds to react to all of this

Because Square doesn't know how to write Final Fantasy 7 after the first game.

There's an idea of what 7 is to gamers, and what 7 actually is, and what Square thinks 7 is.

And they confuse all 3 of then when making a game.

I don't agree with all of that because they do get it for the most part

But for some reason they had it in their thought to fumble it up at the very last second

when Red meets his dad. Great moment! They are hitting all the beats like they should. But then out of nowhere Cloud and the gang are there somehow and then the Gi stuff comes in

 

And I actually do love the new lore with that!

They did a fantastic job with it in Remake after the plate fall

Barret shouting his lungs out for the people he lost, the walk to Aerith's house and them going back to the fall to help people

Its my favorite scene in Rebirth and its not even close
