Reasons for getting 3DS

• Asthetically more pleasing than the PSP2
• Coming out earlier
• More info about it
• Epic nintendo exclusives
• Probably will be slightly cheaper than PSP2
• backwards compatibility with all my DS games.
• KH3D (but will probably get ported to consoles)

Reasons for getting PSP2

• getting bored of DS style gameplay
• starting to prefer types of games featured on the PS Systems
• can hook up to my PS3 to play at home
• asuming there is a plug-in USD drive, i might be able to play my previous PSP games
• i hate 3D. if i had the 3DS i would always have the 3D setting off = main gimmick gone
• Much better controls than 3DS
• FFT-0, Dissidia, Crisis Core
• awesome sony exclusives
• better internet functionalities.
• easier to buy full games.
• 3DS is reigon locked. PSP2 will more likely not be.
• 3DS has only 3-5 hours battery life
• 3DS has a ridiculous price tag for what it is

And in all seriousness, why are you giving 3DS a choice if you hate 3D? I mean, that really just defeats the purpous of one of the main functions of it. Besides it's not going to force you to wear glasses for it or anything. Shesh.

i know it's glasses free, i just don't like 3D, i'd much rather use standard '2d' graphics. but i could still use the 3DS as a regular 3DS with a much higher resolution, analog stick, and the ability to take 3D pics

No UMDs. Enough said. (that and it has PS3 graphics is all I know about it)

But really, the 3DS comes out sooner and if you get that you can also get KH 3D (which I doubt will get ported since they never did that before) and if you really don't like the 3D you can turn it off, the games still have really good graphics plus being able to take 3D pictures sounds amazing. And another reason why I think it would be better to get a 3DS is you used the word 'epic' in your reasons for getting one.

Ive heard that 3D can be more than a simple gimmick for use in gaming just my tupence mind you, I mean I hav a friend who hates 3D in films.

 

But like Ocelot said wait and see, but I would keep the 3DS in mind since the next main KH is on it but dont rush out for the 3DS just keep your options open

PSP2 all the way. KH 3DS is mostly a spin-off so unless you really want the 3D gaming it's not really important.

3DS cuz KH3D has NEW worlds. not just the old ones we love plus PSP2 really hasn't been annouced officially yet.

Honestly, why does it even matter which console you get? They're both great in their own ways. Why do people always gotta compare different consoles? Really, it's stupid and repetative if you ask me. There gotta always be a console war like "Oh PS3 is better than the Wii because of better graphics, HD movies, and has better games" and " Oh, the X-box 360 is better than PS3 because of the stupid X-Box live".

 

So it really doesn't matter to me. They're both great in their own ways and I like them both. Although I do like the 3DS more because I am a Nintendo fanboy and I like anything Nintendo. Nintendo never fails or dissapoints anybody. But as I was saying, it doesn't matter which one you pick. They're both great systems.

to the first bold, i'm pretty sure they will have released an external plug in UMD drive, if they haven't already.

 

and to the second, there is a small chance they might port it (if i were them i would port days, BBS, coded and 3D into one big collection for the PS3 and xbox), but there are always youtube playthroughs

If the PSP2 is backwards compatible, then you should probably get that if you don't already have a PSP.

Lol, I remember hearing about that from my friends, the X-Box 180 it was supposedly called, but apparently it was canceled for reasons I don't know.

I would probably reccomend the 3DS, but that's just me. :I It seems to have the most perks. In the end, though, it's your decision over anyone else's. Both of them would be quite fun to own and use--it depends probably more on some of the games you're planning to buy/use.

just added to the list battery life, it has been confirmed that the 3DS will only have 3-5 hours battery life

 

right now me getting the 3DS isn't looking good. already the games are reigon-locked and the battery life is pathetic

But, how much more battery life will PSP2 have? I wouldn't expect it to have much more battery life, if it has anything on the 3DS battery at all.

 

Anyway, I would wait until we get more info on the PSP2 before you make any decisions.

Well it all depends on whether or not you are wanting to play Kingdom Hearts 3D or not, if you do, then 3DS for sure, but if you don't really feel like you want to, then you better compare the systems, see which has better games in your opinion, look at all the features, things like that.

I disagree by close bit ds has over psp but alot of people don't play good games on it.the 3ds line-up is mostly remakes or sequals and sony is known for lauching system with not alot games.There could be Uncharted psp game.But PsP had better games than ds last year like VC2 and peace walker.

A Child, A Pregnant Woman, a fetus, a person subject to epilepsy or seizures that 3d effects can trigger, under the effects of achohol AND MORE.

I say wait for more information on the PSP2 and a launch lineup, that way your decision will be easier. Chances are those two things will be shown at E3. That way, the 3Ds may have gone down in price a little, while having a few good games out, and if you like the PSP2 better you can save up for it. ^^

You mean the Windows 7 Phone? That's Microsofts attempt at Portable gaming, they sated so themselves.
