I'm never trusting a promise from them EVER AGAIN

Posted

I just got back from my trip, and I talked to my dad and he promised I could buy Re: Coded

As soon as he comes upstairs, We WOULD buy it from Play Asia

It would be "Expensive" in America, but that price is like as if it were 5$ over there

Because, you know, here, DS games are worth R$:200,00 which is like, 100$

And games there are like, $15-60.00, and Re: Coded is US$ 39.90 in Play asia, and around R$ 67.06 or something.

BUT my dad says he DOESNT trust Play Asia just because it imports games and is partially Japanese.

I don't understand him. Promise breaker. he keeps telling lies all the time.

I'm never trusting a promise from him even again.

Congratulations !!! , enjoy ^^

Wait, from Play-Asia? As in, you're getting the Japanese version? Why not get the English version?

They sell it in english too...

you just have to click "USA version" or something in the left bar.

Congrats! Have fun and slay a Heartless for me!

I just changed the whole post. My dad is an idiot.

To me it sounds like your just upset because you didn't get what you want. Stop whining.

Your dad makes sense, you shouldn't trust any non-english websites unless you understand the language 100%. After you make your purchase you never know if that website will sell your credit-card number to identity thieves who will completely wipe out your savings.

Just show him a few reviews of the website written by people to convince him that it's alright.

If not then buy it at gamestop like 99.99% of the population I don't see what is so special about importing it from Japan.

What the hell? 100 to 200 dollars for a DS game? It's supposed to be only like 40 dollars lol maybe even 30. I think someone is ripping you off.

.... Well that sucks alot.... Sorry :/

Go to Target. That's where I got my copy, and it was only U.S $25.00. (:

There are no Targets in Brazil -.-... It's not out in ANY Brazilian sites or stores.

And to the dude who told me to stop whining, The Site IS english, it's just that it sells japanese games.

Sorry, I was unaware of which country you came from. >;

Does.. Amazon.com work there? xDD

Dude. Chill. It's just a game. Besides, he gave you a house, clothes, and food. Even a system to play Re:Coded on.

Be happy with what you have.

It works for books and stuff, but for some reason games can't be shipped from Brazil. -.-

And SuperPunk, I'm not sad because I didn't get the game, but because my dad broke a promise. AGAIN.

Things happen, promises get broken. That's life and it sucks sometimes but you have to get used to it.

It doesn't matter. Your Dad doesn't trust the site so tough luck. Your not the first person to be told no.

Ever hear of Amazon.com?

Yeah over here in Asia video games cost that much yeah we live with it. While you North Americans get video games for under 30, 40 dollars.

Here in Australia, DS games can cost as much as like, $70. Unless that's just where I live. I've learned to live with it though.

Promises get broken, its life. Just save up for it and buy it in a store near you or something. Not that hard.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but.. yeah.

Yeah, it's all of Australia.

Get a bank account, connect it to a Paypal account and you can buy anything you want online. You don't have to be an adult or anything, anyone can do this.

Agreed, this is true, and I think it's all of Australia, well it is in NSW at least lol.

If you really wanted the game THAT badly, you could try getting it yourself

Really? I would buy an awesome artbook this way if my mom lets me D:

Yea promises get broken by parents alot :/ I'm used to it now

-off topic-

Oh and the -insert term for not fake item- DS games they sell here in Malaysia is really expensive (Usually RM100-200) and I heard the 3DS will be like RM1000 over here, now that's something my parents wouldn't let me buy OTL

Re:coded is not that big a deal. Heck I've never played Birth by Sleep nor will I ever play it. And since Re:Chain of Memories was never released in Australia or Europe I'll never be able to play that either. But so what! It's just one or two video games nothing to stress over.

I'm glad it's not just my crap town that has horrible pricing, haha.

But on topic: It's just a game. Don't need to cry about it. Like I said, save up for it. Or like what DC said, make a bank account and connect it to a PayPal account. I have one and I can buy online, and I'm 14.

So yeah.

guys, I HAVE the money, but none of the sites work and it's not out in any store here.

I don't have a credit card, DC.

Amazon.com doesnt sell games for Brazil.

And If I COULD I would get the game.

I think that pretty much means I'll have to somehow get a used copy from someone in the US.

oh and I tried Ebay, same problem as Amazon.

Ouch, that sucks. I hate it when people break promisses. Espicialy when they do it often.

That really sucks about Amazon. I hope you can get the game soon.:3

You don't need a credit card. Amazon.com doesn't sell video games to the Brazil area? Odd.

But yeah you don't need a credit card. Didn't you just read what DChiuch said? Bank account connected to a Paypal account. You could also get a Debit Card it's what people in my family use. It's just really a bank card but your also able to purchase stuff online.
