I've played several of their older titles and man, they've been developing and expanding on turn based mechanics and what can be done since 87, and tbh?

It all feels like it led to Metaphor.

Mechnically it might just be their ultimate game.

it's also funny how the game had some p5s elements in it

like the entire travelling aspect

I think they solved it pretty well

gameplay vs cutscenes are also way better paced

My issue is the anime cutscenes their quality is very hit or miss

Sometimes it feels like Studio Trigger

I honestly want them to drop the anime cutscenes

Their quality is kinda ass

Just continue with the rendered cutscenes they have, they are much better honestly

There's more in this 1 game than the entire of Persona's 1-4 lmao

I do have to say they firetrucked up the writing there though

the entire lore of this place doesn't make any sense

 

there's npcs that mention that they talk a lot to travellers but then the story tells you that they don't really have contact with outsiders at all. And the entire part of their people's history doesn't feel believeable at all. Also the spear having these abilities is awfully convenient
