So, the oh so wise government(spellcheck?) built a metal playground for Canadian children!

 

My friend and I went to go play on the Elemtary school playgroud Yes, I still go on playgrounds, stfu cause we heard they ripped out the old wooden one and replaced it with a newer "safer" one made 100% out of metal. My friend and I almost broke our necks several times on that death trap, we counted about 27 ways to die.

 

I worry about those poor Kindergardners that go to that school.

i played in metal playgrounds most of my gradeschool life and never hurt myself.

Almost all the playgrounds in America (or at least new york) are 100% metal.

 

Basically at least 30% of the people here (including myself) were injured from antics at playgrounds AT LEAST once

I really don't see how metal playgrounds are worse than wooden ones.

 

You can get hurt in the same ways on a wooden one.

Not to mention the diseases the wood can contain. And wood disintegrates faster than metal.

 

Not to mention the splinters. Oh, how I hated getting splinters on those things! >_<

Er, well, I was never a playground kid. I never saw the fun in it. And the playgrounds around here are all plastic. xDD

My school sucks, and we don't have a playground (just coz I'm in year 12, doesn't mean I don't wanna play on the swings D: ) But the primary school next to us has a metal playground, and people seem to get hurt by that all the time, so it didn't really make a difference, bar the wood disease thing....

Nothing's entirely safe so something like that could happen to anybody because of the way life is

I could find three ways to kill myself or die by using the remote control. You should be careful around the playground and anything else because everything's dangerous if you think about it.
