Kingdom Hearts

Recommended Posts

tutti frutti. I'm pretty sure that this question has been asked at some point, but mostly has been bothering me throughout the series. What really is Kingdom Hearts? From one point its the door to darkness, another being a place of immeasurable power and knowledge, another being the heart of all worlds, even being a giant heart shaped moon in KH2, KHDays, and BBS. It mostly has me puzzled as to what it is overall since it has been described by different characters from their own perspective.

It IS a place of immeasurable power and knowledge AND the heart of all worlds. Xehanort has to have tried to achieve it for some reason. My only thesis is that the heart-shaped moon was merely a form of it and perhaps even an entrance to it and that the Door to Darkness was...well, the door to it.

Well... Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all and *what xehanort4 said* and as we see in kh2 and days, all the hearts go to the moon, so the door is some sort of manifestation of it. My idea on why: The true kh is still in the realm of darkness. For a fake to have immesurable power it must have that immesurable number of hearts, which means it must connect somehow, and that connection is the dtd. It is a door that exists in both sides, and hence, you could say looking at the dtd from the kings pov at the end of kh1 was the true kh. /idea. There was also something about kh encompassing more spiritual things such as rivers and what not because they spiritually have hearts as well.

The door seen in the first game was actually the door to Kingdom Hearts. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, had said that Kingdom Hearts was made of darkness, when in fact it was made of light, as pointed out by Sora. Kingdom Hearts itself is actually seen in Birth by Sleep as a blue heart-shaped moon. This Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all worlds, as said by Master Xehanort. The Kingdom Hearts seen in KH2 and Days is the heart of MEN, which forms when a person's heartless is defeated and the heart goes with other hearts to create Kingdom Hearts. So in actuality, there are TWO Kingdom Hearts. The one to which Ansem is referring to in KH1 is believed to be the heart of worlds.

Most of the stuff you have stated is true. But there really isn't 2 Kingdom Heats. There's only just one KH. The one we've seen in the first KH game is just a incarnation of the real thing. You can say it's kind of a copy of the real Kingdom Hearts. But yes, it is also the heart of all worlds and you're right, it was mainly made by light, it was made by all 7 princesses of hearts mainly since their hearts are full of light.

The door in the first game was the door to (the realm of) darkness, not the door to kingdom hearts; however it is still kh. The true kingdom hearts is still in the realm of dakness is still in the realm of darkness and since then various forms have appeared in the realm of light. I do believe you were right with the bbs kh. As for the artificial kh of mens hearts and kh of worlds hearts I have an idea that once they gain enough hearts their existence connects to the true kh, but this is still just an idea.

what I think would be cool, is if you could actually go into the kh moon, and it would be it's own world. kind of like on zelda majora's mask when Link goes to the moon, and theres a tree and a hole bunch of kids around it.

Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds, is just a visual incarnation of the place in the realm of light. However, the true Kingdom Hearts is within the Realm of Darkness. It is what Kairi's grandmother told about, the true light within the deepest darkness. The one in KHII is an entirely different Kingdom Hearts, being made of men's hearts.

@allstarkingdomfan which time? You have to fight him a few times throughout the game.

In KH 1. It was the Door to Darkness, which was the massive door. Kingdom Hearts is inside of the realm of darkness. Referring to Kairi's grandmother's story about the creation of the worlds. 'Because the true light is still sleeping inside of the darkness.' In other words, the heart of all worlds and the centre of light is deep inside of the realm of darkness.

In BBS, KH358/2, KH2 where Kingdom Hearts appeared as a moon, this could be one of two things. Either this is just a representive of Kingdom Hearts, meaning KH has no true form. Or it is a portal type thing, which allows people to be taken to Kingdom Hearts.
