maleficent is aparently getting her own movie, probably live action it says, anyone think this'll effect the kh series since she's a running antagonist?

I doubt it will affect the KH series at all. People will see it as just another disney movie. That is unless it turns out to be a good movie, then who knows.

It won't affect Kingdom Hearts, as the two Maleficent's are different. But I was just looking at that site and everything they do seems unconfirmed.

Most likely this movie will be like the book "Wicked" that told The Wicked Witch of The West.

If the movie tells Maleficent's back story, it might be worked into KH to flush out the character.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is really even going to be a real movie. There isn't even a trailer up for it. I won't believe it until I see some real proof.

What makes me doubt it even more is that Jolie is going to play as her. That would be the worst match-up ever.

 

If it is real, it probably won't effect Kingdom Hearts very much, if at all. The movie deals with her past, and KH doesn't.

If Tim Burton does end up directing it, this movie might be worth watching...

I'd doubt it'd have a huge impact on Maleficent's role in KH since they have stylized her off of her original Disney appearance and persona; however, if KH becomes more realistic then maybe?

point taken but the series is still running strong and that movie is chronologicly years after the first one, like little mermaid 2 (which i'm sure kh will cover ughhhh)
