Later in the year around about June - August. So about winter time in Australia. I will be upgrading my laptop. What this means is I'll give my Laptop which I got at the very start of 2009 back to the place I purchased it from and I will pay a bit and get a new computer.

I'll either get an Apple/Mac, Lenovo Netbook or a possible 3rd option, a Lenovo laptop.

Don't get a MAC unless you plan on running a lot of adobe and music making programs. Other than that they only excel at three other things, looking cool, being expensive, and being out dated in a year.

Like what Fredfredbug4 said. If you're using mac for adobe softwares and music making, then mac is the one for you.

 

But if you're looking for more web browsing, heavy entertainment, and games. Get an Asus, Acer or Dell whichever that fits your budget.

Whatever you do, don't get an Acer. I've had two already, and they've both had a ton of the same problems (over-heating, not charging properly, etc.).

Ouch. Thank god I didnt get an acer last year. Nearly bought one but decided to get an Asus instead.

Lenovo is a computer brand Koolkingdom.

 

Not really my choice of brands. These are the options I have. If I had the choice on brand I would choose Toshiba.

 

I haven't really made my mind up. It comes down to how much the Apple is. After all I'm not paying full price since their brought in bulk and I'm giving my old laptop to them.
