Ever since i watched the secret episode "zero point" I have been speculating as to when Birth by Sleep vol.2 will take place,I think it will take place the same time as coded or 3D. In RE:coded's secret ending mickey said they knew where vens heart was,so obviously the scene of him disappearing implied that he has woken up and is trying to escape castle oblivion

I believe it takes place between Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts I. We believe that it'll show more about the heartless, Aqua's journey on the realm of darkness and the worlds falling into the darkness.

Nothing is confirmed, but I think it's starts after BBS and goes throughout the series to right before KH3. This is what I get from watching the secret ending.

You know what would be cool? If it went all the way INTO KH3, with Aqua escaping the realm of darkness and ending up in front of Sora, who is currently near the end of the story of KH3, and it ends with a to be continued in KH3 message.

It'd be pretty cool to get a little taste of what KH3s story will be like, no?

In theory. KH could have some excuse. Heck, all they need to do is at the word 'Heart' or 'Darkness' and as far as they're concerned they have a foolproof argument.

Then they would be changing what is canon. Eraqus already stated that only Aqua could sucessfully navigate through CO, as she is the creator.

BBS Volume two has to go all the way through KH2 till the very end and possibly a little bit further. I think it starts about the same time as Kh1 begins. I think this because Ansem the Wise is on the beach again which occurred as a result of the explosion in KH2. Also, Aqua is the one who comes up to Ansem so Ansem has to have been there first logically.

That has nothing to do with the BBSFM ending, that's Blank Points. It's for KH3D and KH3.

I think BBS volume II will cover Aqua's journey to that point because she is shown outside in the Castle of Dreams in Final Mix's endings. Obviously, how she got to the beach needs to be solved. That's all I'm trying to say.

i remember someone saying that birth by sleep volume two takes place during between kingdom hearts and birth by sleep, and that it should be about aqua, riku and king mickey so that way nomura's stories of "riku and king mickey's absences will be revealed along with aqua's new story of "her absence"

 

also i think volume two may reveal connections to the next saga after the xehanort saga by clearing up the last hidden details of the xehanort saga before the final battle in kingdom hearts III and possibly may reveal a new antagonist for the next saga, possibly the primary antagonist that the next saga could possibly be named after.

I think BBSv2 will take place when mickey and riku were in the realm of darkness and between when sora was asleep but from rikus point of view and I think he might be the main character.

No one knows when it takes place now, we can only speculate. However, with that said alot of signs point to at the very least it taking place when Aqua's in the darkrealm, probably around the time of Radiant Gardens fall to around late/mid KH1 showing a bit of what happened behind the scenes within that time period.

 

With that said for Aqua though, you have to look at the fact that cutscenes that take place after 1 are shown, which implys that at the very least we will be getting a scenario/story taking place around Days time, probably as Riku, perhaps even going all the way to late KH2 with him. It's also worth noting that while the novels are in no way 100% canon, there was a few things that happened behind the scenes with Riku in them, and battles in them that would be perfect for a scenario for him shown in them.

 

And then there's the Sora/Ven disappearing. While it could just be for show, why in the hell would you just show Sora/Ven disappearing for no reason? Not to mention the bit where it shows Sora disappearing is after 2, which widely implys we will get something shown after 2.

 

tl;dr It'll probably be a game taking place from not long after Birth By Sleep, and have scenarios that show what happened behind the scenes up until 2 or shortly after it and lead into Dream Drop Distance.

I think the fact that it shows Riku watching over Xion and Roxas which happens in Days prettymuch confirms this.

Just judging from the trailer.... I think it will be all over the place, just answering unanswered questions, and giving us new ones to ponder over, like any other KH game.

Also, I read in an interview that no one is dead in the series which makes me think all the organization members may still be there in the KH3. Because all of their nobodys were killed, all that needs to be done is have their heartless be killed and there bodys and hearts wil be realesed and can possibly get together and reform their original self. Actually, you have it backwards. First the Heartless has to be destroyed, then the Nobody. That's the only way for them to merge and become whole again. If you destroy the Nobody first, then the body will dissappear and there will be nowhere for the heart to return to once the Heartless is destroyed.
