Why is it so unoriginal? It seems to me that the keyblade is supposed to unique for each user because of their different hearts. Look at Terra's keyblade, unique, same with Aqua and Ventus. Even Xehanort and Vanitas follow this pattern with their keyblades as well as Riku and Mickey. Is this because Sora has not proved his worth as a keyblade wielder on his own or is his keyblade going to change in the future?

I had always seen The Kingdom Key as Sora's, not as a generic Keyblade. Though, now that you point it out, I can see your point. Hmm, I don't know what a unique Sora Keyblade would look like.

What do you see a "Sora unique" Keyblade looking like?

fool. The KingdomKey is the most kickass one out of them all, so I'm not sure what you mean.

I see nothing wrong with Sora's keyblade, maybe because I don't focus on the little unimportant things. Maybe when each game was in development after KH1, the designers thought of better designs of the keyblades for the other wielders so they won't make it unoriginal like Sora. Or maybe that's how it's just suppose to look, just like the Kingdom Key D. I really don't see Sora's keyblade changing and it'll just stay that way......but that's just me.

Also, what MasterXemnas said.

It was the keyblade in kh1 where as in bbs there are five new wielders which makes wielding a keyblade nothing legendary and to make each character unique they needed unique designs.

Kingdom Key does reflect Sora's personality in a lot of ways. The b ig defensive grip, the ability defender. It all shows how Sora wants to use his power to help and protect others.

Maybe its because Sora's Keyblade can change it's appearance with the keychains. So it just has a plain look for it's default.

soras keyblade is realm of lights keychain.

it has been with sora, xion and roxas.

it could be roxas and xion inherit from sora.

terra, ven and aqua maybe didnt never gain it...vens keyblade could be keychain of his own unknown home world.

Every keyblade can do that.
