Let me apologize in advance because I know that there are a million threads about this; E3 has just gotten me thinking about it.

 

Anyway, let’s start off with what we know it’s not.

 

1. It’s not an HD remake of the games. Nomura did seem to have a desire to do this, but said he didn’t have the time at the moment. Therefore this isn’t the surprise.

 

2. It’s not Kingdom Hearts III. This also has been confirmed. I also think it’s safe to say it’s not 3D or BbSV2.

 

3. It could be the Final Mixes released worldwide, but I think the gift would be something that Japan would benefit from, too.

 

4. It could be porting the games to other systems. However, since Disney won’t let Kingdom Hearts be on the Playstation Network, this could be somewhat limited.

 

5. It may be a trailer for Kingdom Hearts III. A lot of people think so, but seeing as how the game’s not in development yet…

 

6. Is there a chance it could be a movie?

 

7. It could be another spin-off and/or prequel or sequel. But my main question to that is what could it be about? Hasn’t most of the timeline been filled in? Unless it’s further in the past, like the Keyblade War or something.

 

Anyway, there was really no point to this, but you have any more ideas about what it could be, what it can’t be, or what another game could be about… let me know.

 

Gosh, I hope we get a clue to this at E3. I’m so psyched! Just a few more days!

 

Edit: Is there a chance this might have to do with the trademarked "SE MASTERPIECES" in Europe? Or BbS possibly being "remastered" for the PS3? Though I was under the impression that that had more to do with Sony than Square-Enix...

I am hoping, however, that BbSV2 might be announced at E3. Because most people do believe, with good reason, that it's the mystery game.

And at least it wouldn't confuse the timeline even more. I think it would be a lot of fun;) I just hope everyone that's ever fought, even Kairi, is playable if they do this.

Sort of like a Smash Bros thing; won't screw with the storyline but will be fun.

As long as Nomura shows us something new, I'll be satisfied at this point. I would like a remake of KH1 and KH2 or final mixes released world wide but that's probably not going to happen. Japan would get upset and then there would be a final final mix. Remember what happened to BBS. Tarzan is the main obstacle in the remake option unless it was replaced. However, trailers would be awesome, remember zero point, blank point, deep dive, KH2 secret trailer.

What do you want to do, kill them? That's a lot of work to do for a development team that's trying to bring out 2-3 games as fast as they can. Also, Nomura said no more remakes for the handhelds on Nintendo since they are in 3D. Also, as much as I would want BBS on PS3, the game just came out last year and this year again. If they work on it again that'll KH's most worked on game that Nomura spent time on. Another thing, if it's HD remastered, why would the Wii be in this conversation. lol And if they were to do it, it's best to just do BBS, KH1, and KH2, since they are already on Playstation, which are numbered titles, and unlike the others(the dialogues would have to be changed to cutscenes, which is a lot of work), and don't need the voice actors to come in. lol at Wii.

what about maybe a compilation game. like they could put kh1 recom and kh2 on one ps3 disc and still have it ps2 quality. that wouldnt be too hard. they would still end up with a few moldy fruit baskets for getting everybodys hopes up for something bigger but that could be it
